Description

The primary function of this role will be to oversee the accounts payable process, assist with month-end closing, and all inventory related duties.  

Required Job Duties:

General Accounting:

  • Work alongside accounting team performing a timely month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, etc.
  • Work with external CPAs during annual review.
  • Participate in additional assigned projects.

Accounts Payable:

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Review variances with appropriate manager.
  • Regularly monitor AP aging report to determine potential payment issues.
  • Reconcile company credit cards.
  • Other general administrative tasks as assigned.

Inventory:

  • Maintain daily cycle counts, analyzing any discrepancies.
  • Review job orders for completion, ensuring all labor and inventory have been correctly posted.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years prior work experience with general accounting duties.
  • Strong MS Office Skills and advanced Excel skills required.
  • Prior ERP experience preferred, Epicor experience a plus.
  • Minimum Education:   High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Perform other assignments as required.
  • Will occasionally/frequently stand, walk, sit, and carry/lift to 25 lbs.
  • This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Additional hours as required.
  • We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations).  Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Pay Range:   $20 to $25 per hour.
