STAFF ACCOUNTANT      

The primary function of this role will be to oversee the accounts receivable process, assist with month-end closing, and all inventory related duties.  

Required Job Duties:

General Accounting:

• Work alongside accounting team performing a timely month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, etc.
• Perform daily/monthly bank account reconciliations.
• Work with external CPAs during annual review.

Accounts Receivable:

• Own credit and collection processes to ensure timely collection of monies owned and maintain positive relationship with customers and sales team.
• Regularly monitor AR aging report to determine potential payment issues.
• Follow up with past due customers to resolve outstanding balances.

Inventory:

• Maintain daily cycle counts, analyzing any discrepancies.
• Participate in weekly review of obsolete and slow move inventory.
• Review job orders for completion, ensuring all labor and inventory have been correctly posted.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum education:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Minimum 3 years work experience in Finance and/or Accounting environments.

Understanding of GAAP.

Strong MS Office Skills and advanced Excel skills required.

Prior ERP experience preferred, Epicor experience a plus.

Perform other assignments as required.

Will occasionally/frequently stand, walk, sit, and carry/lift to 25 lbs.

This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Additional hours as required.

We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations).  Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Pay Range: $30 to $35 per hour.
