We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up, operating, and maintaining various PCB production equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Configure, operate and maintain various PCBA production equipment, including focusing on production throughput, schedule adherence and quality standards.
- Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or electro-mechanical systems, including operating all equipment safely.
- Continuously monitor the machine's operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and precise production.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying any defects or deviations.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery, and identify and report more complex issues.
- Follow all company safety rules and guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately record production data, quality metrics, maintenance logs, and report any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class II and III Acceptability of Assemblies Standards.
Other Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience operating PCBA production equipment. (SMT, selective solder, wave solder, AOI, conformal coating, de-panel, etc.)
- Strong understanding of machinery and mechanical principles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain production flow.
- Requires physical strength and endurance for operating machinery and handling materials. Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills are needed to report issues and work effectively with team members.
- Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm October through May; Monday through Friday 7am to 3:45pm June through September. Overtime is required to support production including starting early, staying late, and or working weekends.
- We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
Pay Range: $20 to $22 per hour.
